Hiro Mashima Announces Heros Manga Mini-Series, Launching In October

Manga author Hiro Mashima has announced via Twitter yesterday that he will launch a new manga mini-series – titled Heros – in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine this October. The manga will be a crossover of Mashima’s three works for the magazine, Rave Master, Fairy Tail, and the most recent, Edens Zero.

Mashima stated that the magazine asked him to produce something for the magazine’s 60th anniversary, which makes sense, him having produced multiple of their most popular series. There was no word on how long the series would last, but this definitely seems to be more than a one-shot. Mashima confirmed that both Edens Zero – his current main series – and Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest – the sequel to Fairy Tail that he storyboards for – would both continue serialisation alongside Heros.

Even if you are not a fan of Mashima’s works, you cannot deny he is one of the hardest working people in the industry. On top of all this, he is also supervising the upcoming Fairy Tail JRPG.

What do you think about Heros? Are you as excited as we are? Glad to see Rave Master make a return? Let us know in the comments.
