Hello and welcome to another Daily Round-Up! Today we’ll be starting things off with some Nintendo news!
Following the recent announcement of a western release, Bandai Namco has confirmed that the Drum controller for Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun will not be available outside of Japan. You can still import the controller from Play-Asia, but at a very high cost of $72 (USD).
During the NintendoVSUK event in London, news site Dotesports was able to get their hands on the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! demo. While playing they encountered a shiny Pokémon, and discovered that catching and finding shinies works a little different this time. You can read the full rundown here.
Remember the rumored Argos catalog listing for the LEGO Harry Potter Collection for to Nintendo Switch? Well, an official rating for the game has surfaced on the Game Software Rating Regulations body in Taiwan, which is making this rumor look a lot more credible.
An extremely limited Crash Bandicoot themed Switch has recently surfaced. With only 3 in existence and 1 already claimed, chances are won’t be able to get your hands on it. However, if you’re eager to get a look at it, YouTuber Domtendo owns one and uploaded an unboxing video.
Wouldn’t it be cool to have other themed Switches featuring Mario, Zelda or even Pokémon? Leave a comment down below what theme would you like to see!
Speaking of Pokémon, for our last piece of Nintendo news, Nintendo has started selling Pikachu butt USB chargers! (Yes, these are official.) The product is currently available only in Japan, but I have a feeling similar copycat chargers will start appearing on Amazon very soon.
And now for some Otaku news!

Mimura tweeted on June 25th that she har been hospitalized, and made her last tweet on July 27th.

In much lighter news, Bandai Namco streamed a trailer for their upcoming Jump Force crossover game which highlights the characters Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen from Bleach.
